Volunteers needed for Frankenreads!

Frankenreads! is an NEH-funded initiative of the Keats-Shelley Association of America and partners in honor of the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, featuring an international marathon reading of the full text of the novel on October 31, 2018 (Halloween) from 9 am to 7 pm.

Professor Michael Goode from the English Department is organizing the marathon public reading of the entirety of the novel and is in search of volunteers to read a 10-minute piece of the novel. Anyone who knows ASL would be very welcome to sign up to sign their 10-minute installment of the novel (or, alternatively, to sign alongside someone else’s 10-minute installment).

The event will be held on the raised level of the Einhorn Family Walk near the Schine Center.

If you are interested in doing a 10 minute reading please contact Michael Goode at mgoode@syr.edu.
